Port Douglas Beaches
You'd struggle to find a better location for your accommodation in Port Douglas than Beaches. It is one of only 3 properties in Port Douglas with a beachfront location but it is also close to all the action, with classy spas, boutiques, bars & restaurants only a short stroll away. It is a small property with only 27 spacious fully self contained apartments - all with ocean views. Palm trees are the only thing obscuring your view of Four Mile Beach and the Coral Sea.
Beaches is one of 10 properties locally owned and managed by Latitude 16. It's staff have worked here since it opened in 1994 and the friendly service on offer ensures that they have lots of return guests. It is tucked away in a quiet corner of Port Douglas but close enough to everything to walk.
All the apartments are fully self-contained with all the facilities you'd expect of a 4 Star resort including full kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, air-conditioning, TV & DVD and your own internal laundry. Every apartment boasts modern furnishings, comfortable beds, balconies (with sun loungers) and, of course, great views. The two bedroom Oceanview apartments have two bathrooms (one ensuite).
Beaches also have a great range of hire equipment including cots, high chairs and strollers for family visitors and they can arrange car hire and daytrips for you in the reception.
There's a beachside café on the premises which is open for breakfast and lunch.Accessiblity:
Port Douglas is aproximately 50 minutes north of Cairns by road.
You can travel to the resort by limousine or coach from Cairns airport. Alternatively, if driving your own car or rental car, you will find the Port Douglas Beaches on the Port Douglas Esplanade.

Thank you for your e-mail you provide an excellent service. The accommodation you booked on our behalf was really first class an we enjoyed our holiday in the tropics. In the limited time we had available to us we went to the Barrier Reef, on a river cruise and saw the sharks first hand, went on a full day to the Mossman Gorge and the big falls- Lloyd the guide was brilliant. Just for good measure we went in Kyaks around the headland which was real fun. The restaurants were excellent. On leaving this area and travelling to the Gold coast the Mantra on salt beach was stunning. We took the opportunity of hiring a car and going to visit Steve Irwins zoo. wonderful experience.
All in all we had a really memorable time and much of it was down to you and your organisation thank you so much.
