Reef Palms is rated as a "Four Star" property with all the mod-cons that you would come to expect. What really caught our eye is that on top of having some great features and being in such close proximity to the Heart of Cairns, Reef Palms maintains a very relaxed and friendly environment.
All rooms are self contained studio style apartments set in lush tropical surrounds. All linen, cutlery and crockery is provided, however, if the thought of getting up in the morning to make breakfast is too daunting a task then the staff at Reef Palms will be more than happy to bring you a cooked healthy breakfast every morning of your stay.
We have visited Reef Palms and as you can tell we were very impressed. If your idea of a holiday is to stay with a friendly bunch of people whos aim is to ensure that your holiday is an experience and that you have everything you need, then you really needn't look any further.
For the busy executive we have facsimile and photocopying available within our resort, and modem access in every room.

Absolutely fantastic value for money, self contained studio apartments only a few minutes walk from the Esplanade.

just returned yesterday from Cairns.
The holiday all went as planned and my daughter and I were most impressed at the attention given to tourists by all the businesses in FNQ. It's a pity we had not allowed at least one more week to do a few more of our options, but we enjoyed all that we managed to squeeze in.
We did a trip on the Gulflander and Savannahlander trains with side trips to Cobbold Gorge and Undara Lava Tubes, and I would certainly recommend this as a great experience. The Gulflander would probably more suit "dyed in the wool rail tragics" because the scenery is pretty monotonous on that section. There are a few good optional packages for using the Savannahlander train.
The Reef Palms was most pleasant and was exceptionally good value. Thank you for your very thorough follow through of our booking with them. I will certainly be in touch with you if I do a return visit someday.
