Cairns, Port Douglas And Atherton Tableland Markets

If you’re the kind of person who likes to wander around markets there’s plenty around Cairns and the Far North so wherever your accommodation is located you’ll find a market close by.

These are the main ones:
1.    Esplanade – Saturdays near the Lagoon
2.    Tanks Art Centre Markets (near Botanic Gardens) – Last Sunday of the month 9am-1pm. The last one of the year will be 29 Nov.
3.    Cairns Night Markets – Everyday 4.30-11pm every day. Entry from Abbott St or the Esplanade
4.    Port Douglas Markets (a must-do for those staying in Port Douglas accommodation) – Sundays 8.30am-2pm at Anzac Park on the seafront

There are also a number of weekend markets held around the Tablelands including Yungaburra on the 4th Saturday of the month 7.30-12.30.
