Car Hire Terms And Conditions

• Vehicles are restricted to sealed roads and must not be taken to Cooktown, Chillagoe or north of Cape Tribulation; failure to comply will result in loss of bond. Billabong have 4WD vehicles for these areas.
• Hirer must hold current licence and be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Insurance is included in rate, however a non waivable excess applies according to age.
• Bonds: Credit cards is required.
• Baby seats and equipment: Available on request for a small additional fee.
• Rental period: A Rental Day is a 24 hour period from the commencement of the Rental. An additional day is charged for more than 2 hours beyond the 24 hour period.
• One-way rentals: Prices and conditions will vary. Click here for locations.
• Licence: All current Australian, Overseas and International licences are acceptable. Minimum age 21 years.
• Single vehicle accident: Not covered by insurance.
