Hi Troy We had a lovely relaxing holiday thank you, just what we were in need of. The apartment was just fantastic, we had absolutely no problems at all.We were amazed at how well equipped it was, it made everything so easy as we bought food for the week from Coles.As we had quite a windy week it was great to be able to relax on the deck and close off the front part and open the side doors to let in the sun.We had a good look around at all the other accommodation in Palm Cove and decided we had definitely made the best choice for us & would recommend it for anyone wanting to travel up there. We had a day out at the reef on the Aristocrat boat (I have been previously on both the Poisedon & Quicksliver) and we had a fantastic day. It was definately the best out of the 3 boats. Hi Troy, Thank you for your 'welcome home' mail. There were 57 of us from the UK, USA and Au. In Palm Cove for my sons wedding to his aussie fiancee. Which took place at the Angsana Chapel and Far Horizons Restaurant. We stayed in a variety of places in Palm Cove. My daughter and her family and I both stayed at the Amphora. We felt that we had the best accommodation. Cleanliness, comfort accessability, amenities and a fabulous pool area (heaps better than the Angsana). We also loved the fact that we had Vivo.....excellent eating within a footstep. All in all our impressions of the Amphora, were very good for an easy relaxed family holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back in the future. We also enjoyed a few excellent trips. In particular our trip to the 'Reef'and Port Douglas.Unfortunately because of the wedding time did not allow us to do very much more. We will correct this next time. Dear TroyThanks for the email.Despite the wet weather and the road works we had a most enjoyable time and will return to Palm Cove in the near future.The highlight activity was the trip to the outer reef with Quicksilver. Snorkelling and the coral viewing in the semi-submersible were unreal. Rain was not a deterrent to either of these activities.A drive through the Cairns highlands to view the Curtain Fig Tree, the Waterfall circuit, the quaint village of Yungaburra and Devonshire tea at Lake Barrine were well worth the days outing. For a relaxing day venture the Kuranda Scenic Railway followed by the Skyrail Cableway are a must. The only comments on this excursion are to wear comfortable walking shoes and be aware of the LONG queues at the skyrail terminus at Kuranda.The service provided by Troy of FNQ Apartments was fantastic. The tickets to the Scenic Railway and Skyrail were promptly provided at Freshwater Railway Station and the seat allocation of a window on the train were much appreciated. Accommodation at Island View was superb with magnificent beach and island views. The apartment facilities were excellent with the balcony barbeque being well utilised. Everything was provided and worked effectively. Waking up to the beautiful sunrise through the bedroom window wall was memorable. The apartment was conveniently located to all the Palm Cove shops, restaurants and coffee shops as well as walks along the beach.We will definitely return to Palm Cove and The Island View Apartment in the near future utilising your services again. It's not much fun being back in Melbourne after the wonderful warm weather we experienced in Palm Cove.We were thrilled with our apartment and the outlook over the rainforest. It was very comfortable and well equipped for our needs.Our son's wedding was fabulous despite the short rain storm during the ceremony.We enjoyed a trip to Green Island for some snorkelling, and shopped and lunched in Port Douglas. Palm Cove however had all we needed with a wonderful range of coffee shopping and dining venues.Your staff were so helpful and we have determined that another trip at some time is on our wish list.Once again thankyou for all you assistance,Ros

Hi Troy,We had a good holiday, very busy, we hired a car and 1st day looked around Cairns city, next day did the 1st of our combo(We booked through you) to Green Island(Very good) then went north to Pt Douglas, next day south to Paronella Park(Very interesting) Saturday the 2nd of our combo(Skyrail, train etc) great, Sunday we drove back upto Kuranda and the Tablelands.The accommodation at the Trinity Beach Pacific was good...Thank you and your company for everything, keeping in continual contact with us, was very reassuring and we will not hesitate to recommend you to our family and friends. I would definitely recommend friends and family to visit.b) The service we received from FNQ Apartment was A+. The accommodation at the Sea Temple Palm Cove and transfer from the airport to Palm Cove was all arranged perfectly and we didn't have a worry in the world. I wouldn't think of trying to book accommodation any other way and would definitely recommend the service to everyone I know that is thinking of travelling to FNQ. My partner and I had a fantastic time at Palm Cove and the Beach Club resort was amazing, would have to say one of the best I have stayed in and for the price even better! Was definitely worth booking through FNQ Apartments, saved us so much and gave us the ability to be able to stay at a 5 star resort. The spa apartment was really nice and very clean. We did have a power failure in our apartment one of the days we were there but it was fixed as soon as it could be and the staff at Property Office were excellent. The resorts lagoon pool was one of the best and we loved the swim up pool bar! Thank you for making the booking effortless. The Beach Club is true paradise. CheersChristie

Hi FNQ, the husband may pay for the holiday but aparently its the wife's duty to return a follow up email.... i don't recall stating this in our wedding vows!We absolutely had a truely wonderful holiday (honeymoon) in cairns!!!!!! the resort - the lakes resort and spa- was beautiful, it had everything that newly weds and families need in a holiday - yes it was a tiny bit away from cairns itself but the lakes bus made the 10min travel into the city quite pleasant.... all the staff we had contact with were very helpful..... the apartments were very modern and well taken care of, the resturants were also fabulous especially the buffet breakfast each morning.... and the swimming pools - words can not describe the how nice the heated spa was each night.... the day trips or tours that were organised were also fabulous - but we didn't realise how fabulous they would be until we were on the bus hearing about the day ahead.... this also lead to not being fully prepared for the day eg beach towels,swimmers etc... (not that this stopped my husband - he swam at mossman gorge in his undies and shared a towel with the tour driver) so yes a little more detail would have been nice..... we also would have like the options, for example one tour day we went to a widelife park, some of the others on the bus went off and had coffee at port douglas instead - if we knew about this sooner we would of taken the coffee option - being sydney siders we don't really need to see koala's..... however i purchased a spoon for mum there and she loved it..... Kuranda was also another beautiful day spending the morning on the train walking around the markets etc.... for 5hrs (a little too much time here) and then heading back in the sky rail, once again if given a choice we would have spent half the day on this day trip..... we both agree that our holidays in the future will entail using packages - not only was it affordable but a great way to see the main sights and relax at the same time - we both look forward to using you very soon - kinda hoping to take the kids to see the great barrier reef..... thanks for asking about our trip - yes we had a wonderful time...... we hope our thoughts and comments are of help.... To Sara,How are you? Thank-you for taking care of our needs on our holiday.The holiday at the Amphora Resort Palm Cove was Fantastic; we enjoyed many things about it. The Amphora accommodation was as described there was no disappointment when we arrived; the Greek restaurant was one of the best and our favorite place to dine. We enjoyed the zoo and crocodile adventure but by far the train ride through the forest would have to be one of the best attractions. I definitely would return for the Sunday Market and Port Douglas as well.We do thank-you for your hospitality and would love to return to Palm Cove and surrounding areas again.Thank-youJoeP.S. Hi Sara, Thankyou we were very happy with our holiday with Trinity Beach Pacific. Our hosts were very helpful on all our enquires and were also happy and nice people. Both our trips were very well organised and we enjoyed what they offered . Bush Billy Tea to Cape Tribulation including the 4 wheel drive part of the Bloomfield track really well organised and I would say that we got very good value for our money. Also the Down Under trip on the Kuranda train and Skyrail back down also a very well organised trip. I would recommend both of these activites to other friends heading up that way. We also took advice about going out to the reef, and took their advice that we might not get what we wanted this time due to the weather conditions. So next time that is what we'll do. There was only one thing we felt our studio apartment lacked was power points, a small point but one I think valid. Also it would be helpful if there was also a broadband facility in the Trinity Beach Pacific Apartments. Apart from this it was a very comfortable, clean and just what we required. Yours Cathryn

Hi Troy, Thanks for the email and I have just got back to work today so that why the reply is so late. As for the holiday it was great, some ordinary days with the weather but it did not detract from the fantastic location (Palm Cove) and the accommodation at the Island View Apartments. The Island View Apartments were so well positioned and the presentation and layout of them was fantastic. We also felt very secure int he are overall and the kids were able to navigate to the shops for an ice-cream or snack on their own. That felt like an extra bonus on our time away. Hi Sara, We loved Palm Cove!! It is a beautiful little town where everything is within walking distance. Given the inclement weather we also visited Cairns and Port Douglas, however most of our time was spent frequenting the local restaurants, cafes and galleries. A day spa at Reef House, was definitely one of our highlights. Our room at Sea Temple Resort booked through FNQ, was lovely. Well appointed, clean and tidy. The transit service to and from Sea Temple made our stay very convenient. Thanks for all of your assistance in arranging our stay at the Sea Temple Resort whilst in Palm Cove. Hi TroyOur recent holiday to FNQ was by far the best we have been on in a long time.We visited the Barrier reef 3 times, Kuranda skyrail & cable car, Blazing Saddles 4WD trail bike riding, drove by car to Cape Tribulation via Mossman Gorge and Daintree River plus a bit of shopping and a lot of eating.We cannot thank you enough for your assistance with our booking. The whole process was fantastic and the fact that you passed on the price reduction on the accommodation at the Pool Resort is something I still cannot believe.Our accommodation was perfect and the staff at the Pool Resort in Port Douglas were always friendly and extremely helpful if we had any problems with tours. Nothing appeared too hard for them and they looked up weather charts often to help us plan the best days on the reef.This was the first holiday where we really did not want to go home and even considered moving there.Thanks again. We had the best time and I am pretty sure we will be back to Port Douglas and stay at the Pool Resort. I will definately utilise your services should that be the case.RegardsThomas

We had a great time in Palm Cove and Port Douglas. The Sea Temple was an amazing resort and I really appreciate your help in organising the rooms we had at a highly reduced rate. It was great to be enjoying all the facilities of the resort and paying less than those that had booked directly with the hotel! We were also upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment for no additional cost. During our stay we attended a wedding which was spectacular. Thank you also for your recommendation on Port Douglas accommodation. Although not in the same league as Sea Temple, our room was comfortable and clean and in a great central location. We had a really lovely time. Hi Megan,Thanks for the discount voucher,we have friends who are contemplating Cairns/Pt Douglas so we will hand it on to them with our recommendations.We were a party of 4 two couples and spent 7 nights at Port Douglas.The accomodation there was a highlight(we had spent 3 rather ordinary nights at Runaway Bay with another company).It was clean and tidy most convenient on the ground floor right next the pol and very well appointed..We enjoyed the outdoor patio.Fiona our hostess was most helpful and organised extra trips for us over and above the ones organised through FNQ and all trips were trouble free and gave us a better grasp of PDWe then had 3 nights with Craig at Clarendon on Spence. A different experience entirely being in the centre of Cairns but once again you could ask for nothing more in terms of accomodation,layout cleanliness and appointments were great. We didn't do a lot, visited Port Douglas and Cairns which we enjoyed but Palm Cove is so beautiful we were happy to stay there.As you can tell we were very impressed with the Island View Apartments Palm Cove and will return very soon. Hi Sara,I'm just back from Australia today, I spent 1 week in Cairns and 2 weeks traveling in Queensland. What an amazing country! I had such a great time!Thanks a lot for your efficient help in finding accommodations as well as your advises for car rental and tours.Gateways on Grafton is definitely a great place to stay in Cairns, great value, great flat, very comfortable, very nice and helpful lady there. No negative point, it was perfect. For sure I would recommend it to anybody who wants to spend time in Cairns. Anyway I found Cairns too touristic, and I preferred the "wider" side of Queensland, I particularly enjoyed the 3 days I spent in Cape Tribulation, far from the civilization and so beautiful....Thanks again for your help, Queensland is one of the most (if not the most) beautiful place I've ever seen and I had a wonderful holidays.Marina
