Reef Encounter is a 35 metre luxury catamaran designed for the utmost stability & comfort at sea. The vessel is air-conditioned throughout & features spacious decks as well as roomy dining & recreation areas to dine and relax in

Reef Encounter offer One, Two & Three Night Cruises. Depending on how long you stay aboard Reef Encounter, your time will be spent scuba diving or snorkelling at the many different reefs and locations on the Great Barrier.

Reef Encounter packages include:- Twin or Double stateroom with private bathroom, chef prepared gourmet meals. All Dive Equipment with the exception of Wetsuits and Dive Torches. Coffee Tea and Milo are available all day for guests free of charge. Fresh Fruit is available at all times onboard Reef Encounter

Helicopter Transfers Arrive in Style by 30 minute scenic Helicopter between 8:00am and 5:30pm to fit in with your schedule. Scenic Helicopter transfers are additional and can be arranged for you departing from Cairns Airport, Cairns City or Port Douglas landing directly onto the vessel Reef Encounter.

There is a $20.00 per person per day levy which is included in rates quoted. This charge is a combination of Reef Tax which is the Australian Government charge to visit the National Marine Park The Great Barrier Reef - A Port Charge, a fuel levy and a management fee.

Wetsuit hire $5.00 per person per day, Dive Torch Hire $5.00 per person per day. Alcohol and soft drinks, cameras, T-Shirts, souvenirs etc.

SSI Open Water Certification
The Personalised Open Water Course is ideal for previously experienced divers or confident aquatic people.
Additional Charges: Queensland Dive Medical from $49

Certified Diving Includes: Fins, mask & snorkel, Weights, Tanks, Refills, BC vest, Regulator

Terms and Conditions:
  • Some Medical conditions and or medication may stop you from participating in Scuba Diving these include Asthma or wheezing. Brain spinal cord or nervous disorder, chronic bronchitis or persistent chest complaint, chronic sinus, collapsed lung, diabetes mellitis, chest surgery, Epilepsy, Fainting, Seizure or blackouts, Heart Disease of any kind, recurrent ear problems when flying, tuberculosis or other long-term lung disease and High blood pressure
  • We recommend the individual purchase of TRAVEL insurance.
  • Cancellation Policy:- Full refund when cancelled or altered 48 hours + prior to departure and NO refund if cancelled or altered less than 48 hours prior to departure
