In response to your request, and yes, you may publish our comments-edit them as you need. We love Port Douglas and the Heritage is the perfect property for us. This is the second time we've stayed here and this time opted for the swim up room which was fabulous! There was nothing better than getting home after a long day sight-seeing than being able to literally step into the pool! While in PD we hired a car and over the week; spent a day in Cairns shopping in various places and enjoying the boardwalk, spent another day doing the Kuranda train (up), visiting the butterfly house, having lunch at the Kuranda pub and then taking the Sky-Rail back to earth. We also spent a day in the Daintree doing a variety of the walks etc. We had lunch at Whet which was lovely! No Cassowary's spotted this time, but on our last two visits we saw one both times and one of them with a chick! Another day was spent out on the reef on Synergy which we love because they only take 12 people out and have a lovely BBQ lunch and drinks plus nibbles throughout the day. The reef was amazing this trip and we saw an incredible number of fish and coloured coral which we hadn't seen before. Perfect! Another day trip was to the Daintree Village for lunch and a river cruise to try and spot a croc or two. We managed to see a hatchling and a 1 yr old juvenile in the 'low' season for croc spotting. A couple of lazy days by the pool topped off a fabulous week! Food was amazing too with Watergate, 2fish and Finz being highlights along with Wednesday night Trivia at the Central. Lots of fun over a few drinks. As you can see we make the most of every trip up here and FNQ Apartments have not let us down! Lovely clean rooms and staying right on Macrossan without any street noise is wonderful! We will be booking with you again, and I am sure at our favourite PD property. Thank you for helping to make our holiday a wonderful and relaxing break. It was just what the doctor ordered!

I had a great time at Port Douglas, especially being warm, it is very cold in Adelaide! The Heritage was very nice, the only complaint was the people in the upstairs apartment. They were very noisy dragging chairs on the tiles. It would be much less noise if some velcroe could be attached to the bottom of the chairs. (I have some on mine) Favourite places: 2Fish Blood Orange Seafood shop (Wharf Street) Book Shop (great coffee) Aquarius to Low Ilses, wonderful The girls at Boutique were very professional, bus didn't collect me back to Cairns, so a car was arranged.
Many thanks for everything.
Thoroughly enjoyed our break. Activities included walking around Port Douglas (Mocrosson Street), kids played in parks, shopping, eating out, croc farm, went to Palm Cove for a day, enjoyed the Sunday markets, as well as the Marina. Cannot complain. Everything was perfect. Would come again. The swim-out room was great for the kids.
Could not fault our holiday and more importantly could not fault the service that FNQ provided for us. We willl certainly use your service again.
Thank you very much,
Our holiday was fantastic we had a great time. We went on the skyrail on the Saturday which you organised for us, thankyou thankyou thankyou, it was a an exhilerating experience we loved it. Sunday we travelled out to Mossman Gorge what a magical place to visit, so quiet & serene. We had a ripper of a day not wanting it end. Then after our hard day (ha ha) we all trundled back to the "Heritage" where we all climbed into the spa to unwind for a few drinks etc etc. That evening we walked down to the pub (Ironbark I think it's name) had a mouthwatering steak then settled back for the toad races. Monday morning saw the end of our time in Port Douglas before heading back to Brissy, so we duly did a little tour of the waterfront & pier at Cairns. A quick lunch then on the plane back home........Ugh. Fun time had by all, super friendly staff fantastic venue to stay at. Can I also highly reccomend to future clients if they do the skyrail or Kuranda rail, they also take the time to go down to the jetty at Kuranda & pay the $15 & go on the riverboat cruise. DJ was our "captain" & I think we all agreed was the highlight of our day. He gives the most informative talk & history of the rainforest at Kuranda, even including seeing a crocodile in the wild & we saw it, ripper rita. Most relaxing boat trip we have been on for a while. Just a couple of small things in regards to our apartments/room. We told the Boutique office when we left about our spa, only felt like working once, our lights flickered all night & a ceiling fan would'nt turn off. Only little things, but will not stop us from coming again.
Thank you once again sincerely for a great holiday.
Firstly, I must thank you personally for your help and support. You have been always been very informative when I have called, and also your kindness and friendly manner has been a great inspiration. The accommodation at Mantra Heritage was very beautiful, and it was just the perfect location, as we wanted to stay in a Central location with the Resort atmosphere. The swim-out deck was a very good idea and my teenage daughters just loved it........ The short walk to the Restaurants and Cafes also offered us a great variety of food and dining, and delivered with their great service and hospitality - beautiful - relaxed and classy.... The Billy Tea Safaris Tour you recommended was very good, and I have mentioned this tour to many of my friends in Melbourne. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about his job, and this just made us appreciate and enjoy our beautiful Daintree Forest........... The Quicksilver tour to the Barrier Reef was also very good. The staff were so helpful, friendly, and well trained, that it made us first-timers to the Reef feel very relaxed and have a most enjoyable day. Thank You so much for recommending the accommodation and these two tours - the best!!!! Will definitely come back to Port Douglas - the best place in Australia in my opinion.
My wife Stephanie and I had a wonderful time in Port Douglas. There are numerous activities and tours that you can participate in and I guess personal interests and budget determines what you decide to do. We went on 3 tours while we were there:- Lady Douglas river cruise, Billy Tea safaris Cape Tribulation, Daintree Rainforest & Bloomfield Track and Sailaway Sunset Sailing. We thoroughly enjoyed all 3 and they were all different and diverse in what you saw and did. We were impressed with the young guides knowledge on the Billy Tea tour, but my wife's favourite was the sunset sailing as we were very lucky to pick a afternoon when the weather was perfect and we had an absolute amazing sunset with the sun shining through some clouds really creating a beautiful sunset as you sailed out towards the Low Isles. I could not fault the service I have received from you, you have been extremely prompt with any response to enquiries and have followed this up to make sure everything is OK. We did have a little problem with the apartment in Port Douglas, but Rebecca from Boutique Collection was extremely helpful in trying to rectify the problems. I have a survey from them and will be making my comments about the apartment problems on this form. Certainly if any of my self funded retiree friends intend taking a holiday in North Qld I would have no hesitation in recommending your organisation to them as all of them take holidays at least once a year in all parts of the world.
Yes we are home!! Port Douglas was a lovely relaxed atmosphere which we both enjoyed. The weather could of been kinder though!! We did a few activities which we both enjoyed. The skyrail was excellent even though we did pick the day the train derailed!! We also drove to Cape Trib and did a Daintree river cruise. Once again the weather was rather wet. Our biggest disappointment was not able to go to the reef. But locals had told us not to go out when the seas are so rough. But we intend to come back and do that at a later date. As far as your service it was excellent. We found Heritage facilties excellent. The pools were excellent and the locality was central and very convienent. The only minor complaint on the room was we felt it needed a little maintainence. The main light switch in bedroom did not work. The air conditioner vents we had to clean as these were very dirty. The room we also felt needed airing. We found it to be very stale and musty on arrival. The light also over the sink flickers. The other thing I feel that you should make other people aware of is the height of the bath and shower. We are only in late 40's and we both found this very steep to climb into and out. Overall thanks for everything and we will definately use you again for further bookings.
We were very happy with the apartment and all of the facilities that went along with it. It was a great location and had everything we needed. We visited the Daintree River for a two hour cruise which was interesting but most of the time was spent relaxing. We dined at the Salsa Restaurant which was really nice! Thanks for your follow up, I was a little nervous booking on the internet but am glad that I did now!
Just want to say a big thank you to you all on making our stay at the Heritage Resort Port Douglas most enjoyable pleasant stay.I would highly recommend fnq apartment s to our family & friends.Loved the surrounding settings and shops close by.We all had a great time and look forward to coming back again in the near future.

Thank you for a wonderful time. The Resort my friend and I stayed at was wonderful and had everything we needed. We participated in a couple of activities that were both fun and relaxing. As for the FNQ services, I found your company responsive and easy to deal with.
Thank you for making our holiday easy.
I had a wonderful holiday. I spent 3 nights in Palm Cove and then 3 nights in Port Douglas, as booked through you. I went on a number of half day and full day tours and thoroughly recommend this for people travelling alone as I was. All picked up from accommodation and dropped back so there was no stress for me. The Tourist information centre on Macrossan street was very helpful in providing information and arranging the bookings. After the morning markets in Port Douglas on the Sunday, I did a half day trip (afternoon – about 1.00 to 5.30) to Mossman Gorge and a Daintree River Cruise ($70) which was terrific. The bus driver suggested we have dinner at The Tin Shed which was the most perfect view and reasonably priced, good food. I also did a full day Quicksilver snorkelling the Barrier Reef – this was sensational and the absolute highlight ($175). While in Palm Cove I did a trip to Green Island and also one up to Kuranda on the train and down on the sky cable – both of these I would also recommend. I stayed at Peppers Beach Club in Palm Cove – again terrific. Thanks again for your help in finding accommodation for me at Heritage apartments in Port Douglas – very central and with everything I needed.
We had a great holiday in Port Douglas. We did not do much but we did go down to On th Inlet and watch the fish being feed. The pool facilities were a great place to relax/read/sunbathe. The appartment we had-1213 at The Mantra Heritage was perfect-we would request this again when we come next time-hopefully in 2010. The closeness to the shop/restraunt was perfect and the apartment itself could not be faulted in any way. We really appreciate all the assistance you gave us with this holiday.

How nice to receive an email from you! Our holiday was wonderful! I was more than happy with everything. The accomodation, car hire and reef tour that you booked for us was terrific. The Mantra was just like you had described, great location and clean. The lady that showed us to our door was lovely(can't remember her name though). The car was simply and easy to pick up from the airport and the reef tour was perfect for us small and active, just as you suggested. I'd really like to thank you Sara for all your helpful information, suggestions and all the time you spent speaking with me to help make our holiday exactly what i wanted. You really made things easy and simple and thats what makes a holiday! Thanks again for your honest and friendly service, I'll certainly be telling everyone about it and hopefully we'll be in contact on our next trip!
We had such a good time we extended our stay by a further six days in the apartment you arranged for us with The Boutique Collection (I hope you got the commission). All the arrangements made by your company were excellent. When looking at the huge variety of accommodation at Port Douglas I was overwhelmed by the options and when I rang Troy I received good advice on both options and price. Thank you and we will call next time we visit FNQ.
We stayed at the Heritage Resort and found it to be an excellent location, right on Macrossan Street. The apartment was great value for money with the highlights being the Jacuzzi on the balcony and the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in away from home. The only suggestions I would make about the apartment is to put some coat hangers in the wardrobe (we had nowhere to put our clothes) and there was nowhere in the kitchen to store any food. Port Douglas is just a great place for a relaxing holiday. So many good restaurants, our favourite being On The Inlet and the new coffee shop Rehab had great coffee and was straight across the road from the apartment. Another highlight is Soul and Pepper down by the water. The entertainment in the town at night was fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our holiday. I must congratulate you for the wonderful service that you provided us with. I sent many emails to you with queries on different accommodations and you always replied promptly and with the information that I had requested. I would not hesitate to use you again for my next holiday up north and have passed your web address onto friends and family for their reference. Thanks Sara, you did a great job.
Thanks for your email. Couldn’t have asked for a better holiday, the weather was perfect and we were more than happy with our accommodation. The Mantra was in a great position as with young children it is good to be in the heart of everything. My husband and oldsest child spent a day snorkelling on the reef and we also took the kids to Cairns Zoo and Habitat in Port Douglas. Other than that it was days at the beach and the pool. We were very impressed by your services and the fact that nothing seemed to hard for you to organise, it made organising the trip alot less time consuming and stressful. We holiday in Queensland each year and will definitely consider using your services again.
